Using a 650 Powder Measure on a 1050
Quote from Reloader on March 28, 2010, 4:53 pmI've been looking and reading about the Super 1050 and have a couple of questions before I purchase one. I currently have a 650 that will go on the auction block, but have some items I think will fit the 1050.
First question, will the Powder Measure currenly used on the XL-650 fit the Super 1050 ???
Second question, do I get the large and small Primer Magazine Tubes along with the large and small Primer Slides when I purchase the package from Dillon ???
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The XL650 powder measure is identical to the 1050 powder measure, except that the 1050 powder die is heat-treated. These are identified visually as they are black-oxide finished.
The Super 1050 comes set up for whatever size primer is appropriate for the caliber the machine is ordered in. The other size priming parts are not included with the machine, and must be ordered separately if needed.
