Vihtavuori N320 Leakage from Powder Measure?
Quote from jcorbs on March 11, 2025, 7:19 pmHi Folks:
First time loading N320 for 45ACP and I seem have powder granules falling onto the loader after the main stroke.
I have not had this with WW231 or any other powder for that matter.
Any thoughts/remedies?
Thanks

Quote from The Human Manual on March 12, 2025, 3:50 pmIs any powder leaking onto the top of the toolhead, or just the top of the shellplate? If leaving onto the toolhead, then the powder bar spacer needs to be replaced. If onto the shellplate, then either you aren't flaring the case mouth enough to get all the powder out of the bar, or static electricity is holding it in the expander funnel. Use a dryer anti-static sheet to wipe the inside and outside of the powder funnel. If you see powder clinging to the inside of the hopper tube, then cut a one inch wide strip from the long side of the dryer sheet, run it down the inside of the hopper tube to touch the metal body, fold the excess over the top of the hopper and tape it to the outside of the hopper.
