Waiting game is worth it
Quote from Reloader on April 3, 2013, 2:47 pmToday I received my new SDB press. It took all of 6 and half weeks. In these trying times, it will take awhile to get your order from these fine folks at Dillon. I did not get a tracking email or any notice, but I do not mind. In my home state of Connecticut my liberties are eroding in the name of safety. At least I have a fine press to load 9mm on. I still can not find powder at my LGS, hopefully this will calm down. Keep the faith people, keep steady. Thank you again Dillon Precision.
P.S. When did the spent primer cup change from a plastic hangdown to a bracket and a cup? Good job
The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all.

Quote from Reloader on April 5, 2013, 12:38 amI've shopped the heck out of presses the last month. Everything I read brings me back to Dillion. So I went ahead and orded a SDB just now. I used to reload years ago on a Lee press and it worked, I fell out of shooting and sold my old press. I can't wait to try out the SDB.

Quote from Reloader on April 16, 2013, 12:58 pmDillon is so very worth the wait! I've used single stage presses Lyman, RCBS, and Heuters. None of those have a lifetime warranty! No single stage press can crank out the amount of ammo I can with Dillon!
I sent in my used SD and had it refurbished ($86.00), and upgraded! It runs like a new press!! After getting 9mm set up and adjusted, I was able crank out 475 rounds in a few hrs. That would have taken way longer with my other presses! The finished product is very consistent!
Dillon may cost more up front, but Time is money and if you want to save time and money in the long run Dillon is the only way to go! If you are serious about reloading, Dillon is the only choice!!!

Quote from Reloader on April 28, 2013, 10:55 pmI hit the 8 week mark tomorrow - thinking I was getting close. Now I read someone is at the 10 week mark for 40 S&W. I was cutting back purchasing factory ammo but now I'm not sure what to do. It would be nice to get an ETA from Dillon.
