I converted my 550B (with optional case feeder) from 45 cal to 40 cal. The conversion is smoothe and everything looks as if it aligned correctly. However, when the hopper is empty and the last case is in the tube and drops onto the guide on the way to the shell plate, it always flips and lays horizontal. Is there a remedy other than placing an additional case in the hopper (51 rather than 50)?

I just signed up. I like the new web sight.
I got my 450 from my father when he did not have time to reload anymore. I soon upgraded to 550B and have put nearly 30,000 rounds through it in the last 5 years. The upgrades make the difference after using the 450 for several 10+ years at my folks house. I have had a few problems but nothing that Dillon could not fix after a call.
