What do I need

I'm completely new when it comes to reloading but due to the current economic climate I feel that it's time to get started. I've pretty much settled on the XL650 but beyond that I'm not sure what parts I need and what I dont. I was hoping someone on here would be kind enough to help me out with a parts list. I would like to be able to reload 7.62x51(.308), 5.56x45(.223), .270WIN, .45, .40, and 9mm. Thank you

Same here!!! HELP!!!

XL650
Case feeder with at least 3 different shell plated
Dies and conversion kits for each caliber
Powder check (one for each caliber)
Quick change kit for each caliber
Case gage for each caliber
Flip Tray
Beam scale or electronic scale (I personally prefer the beam scale)
Primer pickup tubes large and small
Strong mount (optional but worth it)
Bullet tray (optional but worth it)
Roller handle (optional but worth it)
Machine maintenance kit
Tumbler
Corn cob or walnut media (or both)
Media seperator
Case lube for the rifle cartridges
Bin to catch finished bullets
Low powder sensor (optional but worth it)
Calipers

I would start out with a pistol setup first if you have never reloaded and when ready purchase the next caliber an so on.  Everyone has their preferences as to what options they need or want. But start with one and go from there. I find that I can buy 9mm about as cheap as I could reload it so I never bothered with that caliber, my choice but you may rather reload it.

Good Luck

and Case gauges!

Can't add much to what was posted already, other than to comment I prefer a quality electronic scale but I have a ancient RCBS beam scale too.

You will have plenty of time to learn as it will take months to get the
press and all given the current panic.  XL650's going for 1200 bucks on Ebay with a single conversion kit. Insane.

I would suggest ya also spend time on Brian Enos Dillon and reloading forum as well and be sure to scope all the Youtube info , a host of help and info there.

I'd also suggest you start with loading your straight wall pistol calibers first before you try to tackle that rifle stuff.
Pistol is easy, rifle is much more challanging to get right.
