What Kind of Accuracy?
Quote from Reloader on July 4, 2013, 1:47 pmLove my new RL-550B for loading pistol rounds but what about accuracy for rifles? I am pretty picky about my rifle loads as I do a lot of long range shooting/hunting. I have always meticulously prepped my brass, powder weights, etc. and loaded to strict OAL's and so forth.
I only have one rifle that is not capable of 1/2 MOA or better and it is a Colt M4. It shoots about 1.5 MOA. But it was made for high fire rate and reliable functioning in the dirt, etc.
I am wondering if it would be worth the effort to get some 223 dies on order (or use my Lee dies) or just keep loading single stage? I have a buddy that has a couple of 308 auto loaders and he is interested in the answer to this question too.
Thanks,
Wooly

I check it once in a while but it has ALWAYS been dead accurate. If accuracy is your main objective though why dont you manually measure powder charge?
