What parts for a 9mm to 40 S&W and 556?

I've been reloading for almost 25 years on a Rock Chucker and about 10 using the Lee Classic Turret (pistol and blackout). I just started with the 650 in 9mm. I would like to also start cranking out .40, 556, and 300 BLK. What parts do I need for each caliber?

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm a newb to the progressive world.

BTW, the little bit I've used this made me wonder how I went this many years without!!!

I forgot to mention...

I'll be using a qd mount for my powder measure from Uniquetek and a powder adjustment knob from Armanov. I'll probably go with the floating tool head from Armanov for the 556 and 300, and a standard one for the 40 from DIllon.

Also, are there any engraving services out there where a guy can send his tool heads to have engraved for each caliber?

Jason,
I load all those calibers as well as whole bunch of others. The route I took is a quick change for each caliber with a dedicated powder measure for each, but if you want to use the quick disconnect powder measure for everything, that is a route that wasn't available when I started, so I don't know how that works.

First off, you'll need dies (you probably have these since you use the Lee turret) and tool heads for each caliber. I used a label maker to mark the front of the tool head with the caliber, engraving is permanent; labels can be changed.

You'll need the conversion kits for everything except the 300 blackout.
You have the 9mm #21109 I assume, so:
40 - #21098
223/556 - #21101
300 just the AK powder funnel #13015 and Case Feed Adapter for 22 hornet (modified blue) - #15186, the rest of the parts are from the 223/556.

Now, if you're using a case feeder, you'll need the small pistol plate ##21079 for the 9mm and I've used that for 40 as well, even though the manual says large pistol, the small pistol works. You'll need the small rifle plate #21082 for the 223/556, and I use a large pistol plate #21080 with two washers for the 300 blackout. Since I also load other calibers using the large pistol plate, I have a second one set up with the two washers just for 300.

All these calibers use the small primers, so there's no need to change that out.

All this isn't cheap, so for a few bucks more you won't have to change the powder measure if you buy the quick change assemblies from Dillon - #22059

Don't throw out the rock chucker, I keep one set up for bullet pulling and another for the pass through die from Redding for the 40 which solves the issue of the "glock bulge" you may get from range brass or if you have a gen 3 or older glock .

Thanks for the help!

I don’t have the case or bullet feeder as of right now, but it’s a wish list item.

How does that work with the shell plate and washers for the 300?

No plans on getting rid of my RCBS. I still use that for all of my other rifle calibers (about 10). Plus it’s nice for 300 blk for the initial sizing step since I do a final trim, crimp removal, and anneal afterward. I also use it with the Lee bulge buster like you noted. Works great.

Jason,
The washers are for the case feeder plate. They go under the clutch assembly holding the plate up off the bottom. Why it works? I'm not really sure, but I don't have brass being fed up side down and it's keeps up with my pace just fine. (the case feeder). Think hard on getting at least the case feeder. I have both a case feeder and bullet feeder and I really appreciate the amount of motions (time) they save.
