What upgrades?
Quote from Reloader on July 29, 2012, 12:36 amHey Dillon folks,
My question is this, I have a Dillon RL550 thats been sitting for a while. My current job requires a lot of shooting to maintain skill and accuracy. What upgrades do I need to get it up to date? I've checked it for function and it still works smooth as glass. I am missing the small primer slide an know I'll need to get one of those. So I'm thinking that I would be a good idea to bring it up to date when I can get it in the budget. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Otherwise, oil the ram using 30 wt motor oil and use automotive grease on the pivot pins and you should be good to go.

Maintenance Kit
Roller handle
Strong Mount
Bullet tray
Extra priming system so you don't have to keep changing the one that came with the reloader.
Toolholder with wrenches
I also have a mount that attaches to the strong mount on the right side that holds 2 bins, one for the finished cartridges, one for the empties. Get the empty cartridge cases closer to station one. not a big deal until you get to 700 on your way to your 1000 in a session. Then you notice the lack in increased fatigue. Can't seem to find it on the site at the moment. All these suggestions are optional, with the exception of the mechanical linkage, as the machine works great as it comes from Dillon.
