Which 30 weight motor oil?

The 550 and 650 manuals say to use 30 weight motor oil to lubricate my presses. So do I use a non-detergent or detergent type oil or does it even matter? Mineral or synthetic?

I've searched the archives but couldn't find an answer.

either and either. Only takes a few drops a time. So if you change your own vic's oil, just about any of the types you use will work.
