Which primer?

I have been using Federal large pistol primers for years with no problems. Running out of them and
due to hazmat shipping costs want to buy local. Will CCI work OK in a 450?

CCI are fine, as long as your firearm has not had the action lightened too much. Some handgun action jobs result in a hammer fall too light to reliably ignite CCI primers.

I have a preference for Winchester, but each reloader will feel differently. I too have heard that some guns have issues with the firing pin not having enough force to ignite the primer for CCI's.
