White Tip Pickup Tube

Hey,
How do I remove a white tip off a primer pickup tube and replace it with a yellow tip?
Also, when running 9mm or 40SW the small primers are getting an inditation or dimple to one side (almost center) when being pressed in. But the large primers do not get this same marking. Any ideas? The plunger looks clean and no raised areas.
Thanks

Quote from Reloader on January 5, 2011, 2:40 pmThe easiest way to remove an old tip is to hold the side of the tube against the edge of your bench and slide it down briskly. When the edge of the tip catches the bench, it should flip off.
The marks on the primer are either from debris or else a very shallow bump on the face of the punch left from the manufacturing. If it always the same shape and location it is the punch face. Purely cosmetic. Feel free to take a stone to polish the top of the punch if you wish, but nothing to worry about.

And it is always in the same spot but it does not happen on every round. I know that sounds wierd and I can't figure it out either. Must be spilt powder or some thing.
Thanks.
