worn shell plate

Do these wear out or is it just me? gone though 3 in 15 years, 9mm.
But my 45acp is still good after almost 30 years. Was asked to send it in, and I did.

9MM is a tapered case, and has a longer carbide sizing ring and much more case contact in order to properly taper the case. The result is that it requires much more effort to extract the case from the die. Lubing your brass will make it easier to extract the sized case, and increase the lifespan of the shellplate.
