Would adding a powder baffle help with H-110 300BO loads on my 2010-2011 Dillon 550?
Quote from jborg33661@aol.com on October 8, 2025, 6:23 pmHi,
I have a 2010-2011 Dillon 550B and have noticed some of my loads can vary 1-3 gr. using H-110 powder for my 300BO loads. Would adding a powder baffle help to make these loads more uniform on the Dillon powder measure(circa 2010-2011)?

Quote from The Human Manual on October 9, 2025, 3:50 pmThe hopper on the Dillon powder measure already has a baffle molded into the bottom of the tube. If your powder charges are varying by one to three grains ( not tenths) then something is not adjusted correctly. Either the powder die needs to be threaded another 1/2 turn or so down into the toolhead to make sure the powder bar consistently goes full travel, or tighten the blue wing nut so that the powder bar is fully retracted at the end of the upstroke to fully fill the powder bar. Or website has videos to show both adjustments.

Thanks!
