XL650 indexer return spring

I couldn't figure out where it came from, but after googling, it appears that it is the indexer return spring. Here is one place it attaches to:

Can anyone post a picture of the other attachment point? Fortunately I have the repair kit and have the extra spring... But I don't know where it goes!!!

From the post you have shown in your picture, the spring goes clockwise around the shaft and attaches to a similar post on the opposite side of the shaft, behind the primer punch assembly.
