XL650 mods

I have had my XL 650 for a few years now. I only load Service Rifle Calipers (5.56x45mm and 7.62x51mm) with it.  I have one head setup to size brass in multiple stages and another head to load (drop powder and seat bullet) short line ammo (200 & 300yd) for each caliper. I manually load the 600yd ammo.

I never was able to get the primer crusher to work satisfactorily so I won't use it. I also have sidelined and won't use the Dillon powder measures. One of my long line powders IMR 4064 does not meter well and my short line ball powder leaks powder like it's raining. I basically gave up on the Dillon powder measures and use instead a Case-Activated-Powder drop device with a Uniflow type powder measure for each setup.

My question(s)

Is there an aftermarket mod/part to make the slide-bar on the Dillon measure not leak ball powder like a sieve?

Is there a "kit" to change the Dillon powder measure back to the (older) spring operated slide return from the (newer) bone jarring rod style slide return?

Can the primer crusher be removed or cut out of the XL650? It's just getting in the way of the Case-Activated-Powder drop device.

I have a XL 650 and it doesn't leak spherical powder at all. It does, however, operate very roughly I think because it uses the "fail-safe" mechanism to return the bar. Stick powders are a problem but in a previous fix I read that polishing the metal cone below the glass helps. Prior to going Dillon, I used a case activated RCBS uni-flow(I believe it was called). Seems like a simpler device and was very smooth. I am extremely impressed with the engineering of the XL 650, but I believe the powder measure is the weak link.

There is a micrometer powder mod that makes the Dillon powder measure extremely accurate. It replaces the stock 28 tpi powder rod with a 40 tpi rod and a micrometer style head that attaches directly to the standard Dillon powder bars. It is from a company called Unique Tek out of Arizona?

It also makes changing powder loads very repeatable (My buddy has one and is always <.1 gr variance.

Not sure if using this would void your Dillon warranty though.
