XL750 Tuneup and Tricks

PreviousPage 2 of 2

I would love to get some photos if you have them, I am having the same problem when the case rotates it spill powder making a mess. I have tried contacting Dillon regarding this and keep getting told there is nothing wrong and I just needed to not fill them as full (this is not an optiion). If I could get things to run smooth I would absolutely love this machine.

Thank you,

Timothy Gentry

Before your xl750 will run with out issues it needs to be mounted rock solid. My work bench has a 2" thick top and the bench is bolted to the wall and the floor. The machine is bolted to a 5/16" steel plate that is bolted to the bench top this eliminates 95% of the primer and spilled powder issues. And after installing the shell plate bearing and plastic detent ball it runs like a dream. My only stoppages are when I miss a 380 acp or a Makarov case when I'm loading 9mm or a 9mm case inside a 45 acp. I haven't had a side ways or upside down primer in the last year and I'm loading for 5 shooters.
