.300 Black Out
Quote from Reloader on February 28, 2013, 11:35 pmI'm currently waiting for specific item numbers to switch from a 5.56 caliber conversion kit to Blackout...I know I need an "AK" powder funnel but not sure about the casefeed parts.
As far as brass is concerned, I'm using a production lathe with a back stop in the collet to cut off the brass. Then I made an intermediate forming die so all the work/wear isn't on the sizing die. After a rough cut off, forming and final full length sizing, I'm trimming it in a RCBS trimmer with the 3 way trim/chamfer head and a micrometer stop. I've probably cut down 1000 or so pieces...could offer the service if anyone needed it.
I don't have pics of everything, but I can send what I have if anyone wants them...email me at jesterff1628@gmail.com

Quote from Reloader on July 16, 2013, 11:25 pmAny idea which case feeder plate to use for 300 Blackout?
I've tried both rifle plates and the large pistol plate with no real success, has anyone tried using the small pistol case feed plate? My reasoning is simply because of the case diameter, .378" for the 300 Blackout versus say .392" for the 9mm parabellum case.

Quote from Reloader on July 23, 2015, 9:00 pmI have an old xl650, 1990's ventage. The best Case feed is with the small rifle plate and some duct tape over the opening to support the ones that come up neck first, other wise they go down the tube the wrong direction.

Quote from Reloader on June 13, 2021, 3:06 pmThey apparently redesigned the casefeeder in 2018 without telling me and it now has an adjustable aperture.

Based on the information presented on pages 6 and 7, I would say to make the opening smaller on the left?
