Immoral Dillon resellers

Page 1 of 2Next

I bought items from a gunbroker Dillon dealer who is selling items in a "buy it now" format and he DOES NOT HAVE THEM IN STOCK. He is still selling, or taking money for stuff he does not have, on gun broker. Its Ed of Eds Brass & Reloading in Iowa. I did a buy it now for a 600 swage and a 1200 case trim.  He agreed via email to combine the auctions and send them for one shipping charge.  Trouble is he DOES NOT HAVE THEM!!!   AND HE IS STILL RUNNING AUCTIONS FOR THESE ITEMS!!

You can check my order history that I had these on order and canceled them except for the trimmer die for 223 and some case lube.

My beef isnt with Dillon at this point. Its with Ed. BUT Dillon needs to contact this corrupt dealer and yank his right to sell Dillon products.

Dillon has always been the most respected name in this business and I truely think that you can undersatnd my frustration and anger in this situation.

I have no problem waiting on back order but when someone tells me they have it in stock with a "buy it now" promise its easy to see why Im really ticked.

OK Dillon. Either reinstate my orignial order at the date it was made or tell me why its OK for one of your dealers to do this kind of thing.

I almost got caught up up in the same situation but found his web site and called him first and found out that he did not have the items in stock. With this said, a few weeks ago if you ordered on-line from Dilllon you did not know if the item was in stock. I did not know from Dillon that a RL550B and a set of dies I needed was not in stock.
So in reality Dillon has been doing the same thing ! In my opinion they should improve their web site to reflect out of stock items or suspend taking anymore orders until they can catch up with present and pending orders !

Im still waiting to see if the Dillon staff has any comments.

I came close to buying from a 'dealer' on eBay/GunBroker, instead of directly from Dillon. After several emails, and a phone call, it was revealed too me that he too did not actually have the items in-stock, but was very willing to take my $$$. I passed. Glad I did.

His ads now state that there is a waiting period on products he does not have in stock. He was reminded to be truthful to customers when selling our products.

I got caught by him also ordering a 550B. I tried to call at least 20 times before ordering to ask if he had it in stock and he wouldn't answer so I ordered it. I continued to call him for two days without any luck. I finally got an email saying that he was putting our names on a waiting list and it would be first come first serve. I emailed him back telling him to cancel my order and he agreed. Luckily I found a dealer that will be getting some in by the end of the week or Monday at the latest.

I've seen some online sellers get pretty greedy lately. Most are acknowledging that items are out of stock and dependant on delivery from Dillon, but not all.

I only hope that Dillon does not give preference to the dealers over the individual customers that ordered direct from Dillon.

All orders for a product go out in the order they were received, oldest orders go out first. No difference whether the order is from an individual or from a dealer, there is only one line, and orders are filled based on the date they were placed.

I tried to email him via gun broker a few minutes ago and his auctions still show but his email is now disabled but his auctions still show.  I dont know if he disabled his own or gun broker did. Im inclined to think he did but his website is on the description of auctions. You can also get his phone # that way.

I have the records of the email we exchanged and his promise of combinging shipping on the swage and trimmer. Thats why my auctions of buy it now show unpaid but he HAS my CC. I HAVE the email where he agreed and quoted me a price for both shipped. This guy screwed with the wrong guy.
