Inconsistent powder drops.
Quote from Reloader on July 6, 2017, 1:46 amThanks for creating this thread. Good troubleshooting information. Like you, I purchased my 550B about 20 years ago and reloaded countless rounds. I'm currently experiencing inconsistent powder charges reloading 9mm. Upon inspection, I found a worn notch on the right side of the powder bar. The forward edge has worn into a half-moon shape, which prevents the powder bar from reaching full travel. Hopefully, the issue will be resolved with the installation of a new powder bar.
