Primers Flipped Crushed
Quote from Reloader on April 23, 2014, 1:41 pmI only load one caliber, .38 special.
My 650 has seemed to have gone downhill fast recently.
Used to have a 5% flip/crush rate.
Within the last month it's more like 20%.

Quote from Reloader on June 30, 2014, 10:00 pmI'm having the same problem .38s, Winchester primers. I have disassembled the primer plate to ensure that it is the proper part. I have monitored the rotation without casings and the primers feed properly, but when I start running the brass through then I start having issues with primers crushing.
I have the strong mount for added stability with 650.

Quote from Reloader on July 1, 2014, 4:51 pmBe sure the primer station locator tab is adjusted to within .001-.003" of touching the side of the case. Also, check the U-shaped notch in the shellplate, to see if it is centered over the primer.
